We are going to have a series of taster lectures for Science! In the following three weeks, academics from the Department of Statistics, the School of Life Sciences and the School of Engineering will bring you an opportunity to experience a taster lecture, which will highlight some of the exciting areas we teach and research, as well as giving you an insight to how you may be taught at Warwick.

Learn from Dr Horatio Boedihardjo what it’s like to study in our Department of Statistics, which has been ranked 16th in the world in the new QS World Subject Rankings 2020. Dr Horatio Boedihardjo grew up in Hong Kong and studied both his undergraduate and PhD degrees in the UK, before being appointed as Associate Professor in Warwick in July 2020.

Meet Professor Georgia Kremmyda, our Director of Student Recruitment for Engineering, and listen to Professor Duncan Lockerby’s short taster lecture, to discover what our School of Engineering, which ranked 5th in the UK in The Guardian University League Table 2021, has to offer you. Professor Georgia Kremmyda is Director of Student Recruitment for Engineering and Director of Studies in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Professor Duncan Lockerby is Head of Research in the School of Engineering, Deputy Head of the School of Engineering and Professor in the Fluid Dynamics Research Centre at the University of Warwick.
