Postsecondary Research Tools

Students enrolled in Grade 10 through Grade 12 should have access to BridgeU, which CDNIS uses as its main post-secondary research tool and application management system. Students can login directly or contact their University Counsellor for more information if needed.

Australia

Study in Australia – Australian government website promoting education in Australia

Canada

EduCanada website – Canadian government platform for searching programmes and institutions across Canada

Macleans – an excellent, independent resource for looking at Canadian university options. Includes rankings on various criteria

Ontario University Information – main platform for searching programmes at universities within Ontario, Canada

Europe

Studyportals.com – a commercial site that allows searches for degrees taught in English – a good place to start for Europe in particular

Study.eu – a gateway to information on universities in Europe

Studylink – a search engine and application platform for applying to the Netherlands

USA

Collegeboard – provides search engines and scholarship information for USA universities. It is also the registration location for SATs

Common App – the major application portal for US universities – includes a search engine for Common App universities only

University of California System – main platform for the UC system schools

Niche.com – creative lists and rankings, good tool for college research

CollegExpress.com – creative lists and rankings, good tool for college research

UK

UCAS – the main platform for finding UK courses and institutions and also for the application process
