Grade 2-5 Inclusion Team Counsellor
Shelly Chutke is originally from India and Hong Kong has been her home for over 20 years. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Delhi and a Master’s Degree in Counselling from Monash University, Australia. Shelly has more than 15 years of experience in coaching and in teaching mindfulness. She is trained to teach dots, .b and Paws b, (Mindfulness in Schools Project (MiSP), courses across all grades. As a counsellor, she aims to facilitate the learning of her students by empowering them with life skills to help them reach their full social, emotional, and academic potential. She is a strong advocate for student well-being and believes in the power of creative expression to enhance the lives of her students. This is Shelly’s seventh year at CDNIS, and she also has one daughter who attends CDNIS in the Upper School. Outside school, Shelly enjoys yoga, hiking, and trying new cuisines.
