Grade 2-5 Counsellor
Shelly Chutke joined CDNIS four years ago, and has one daughter who attends CDNIS in the Upper School. Shelly’s background is in Psychology and she holds a BA in Social Sciences from the University of Delhi and a Master’s degree in Counselling from Monash University, Australia. She has more than 15 years of experience in coaching and teaching mindfulness and various meditation techniques. As a counsellor, her aim is to facilitate the learning and well-being of her students and empowering them with life skills to help them reach their full social, emotional and academic potential. Shelly believes in the power of creative expression to enhance the lives of her students and tries incorporating arts into her counselling practice. In her spare time, she likes reading, yoga, painting and listening to good music.
